What device your friend is using to read and burn chips? the Burn2 from Moates.net The 413 XDF is made for specific software version, your original software may not work. Some 413 ecus come with 27c256 chips but that ecu can take 27c512 chip also, this is why you have a problem. Just use the bin fr...

I did read it 3 times to make sure that am not mistaken, maybe I was, I will try to read it again as soon as my friend comes. But why the tuned file wont upload to the chip? and give me chip starts HEX address as 000001 when I upload the file to the buffer? and when I try to burn it on that address ...

413 ECU .bin file size problem
Hi, I have read a bin file from 413 ECU to tune it, but it came out in 32k size, when I opened it with tunerpro it gave me 0 values all over the tables, I did this many times and it just gave me the same file size, so I loaded the original 413 .bin that I downloaded from tunerpro into Ostrich2, it w...

Fuel Cut on RPM decrease
Hi,
I was tuning a BMW with 173 ECU, and noticed that the car get a bit weak during shifting, I wonder if I can tune the fuel cut on RPM decrease, so i can hold the RPM up high during the shifting, this can be done easily in standalone ECUs, but can it be done using tunerpro, and ostrich?

Luckkeeper why you need to change the dwell, we have did the same setup with m50 2.5L to max it into 3.0L with 405 ECU, all I did is adjusting little fuel with minor advance with higher rev limit, and turned into a tire burner with 14.7-12.9 AFR, also we did use the red tops 200cc injectors to it, b...

gavin, are you using the SST 27SF512 chips? for me 27SF512 chips did the same thing, every day with new AFR, its like if the chip go crazy and run a different map every time, so I switched to 27C512 they are harder to deal with regarding erasing, but so far they are good, and gave me a constant tune...

I did and read the original chip as 32KB and tried it, but it didn't work, as I downloaded the BIN from the tunerpro, also didn't work, am going to check the ECU, maybe I broke something  I used it on my other e30/m50b25 car 405 green label ECU with the proper XDF and stock BIN, and it worked ...

different BIN sizes
hi, I got the Ostrich 2 along with the Burn2, to work on the M50 402 Red Label ECU, I noticed when I read the original chip using the stand alone Moates Flash&Burn that I downloaded from TunerPro gives me a 64KB BIN file, but when I read it using the utility that is found in TunerPro RT it gives...

if you want to use data from the KTS multiplexer, it should be connected anyway, the socket alone wont help, i tried it with my KTS 500, to take data while the car on dyno, and wasn't that effective, i had to interrupt the ESI[tronic] software to be able to extract data to excel sheet or other softw...
