What device your friend is using to read and burn chips? the Burn2 from Moates.net The 413 XDF is made for specific software version, your original software may not work. now it rev nicely to 7000RPM with much torque with the modes done, one of the mods are after market rocker arms, can't i rev it past 7000rpm?! i tried few higher values, but it always correct it, and still rev at 7000, what can be done to increase it?

The problem is that i did raise the ignition and it worked well, i do read the original BIN file from the ECU itself

sure it wont make a major difference, but it kinda give a good shift, will check other way to improve that.

I was tuning a BMW with 173 ECU, and noticed that the car get a bit weak during shifting, I wonder if I can tune the fuel cut on RPM decrease, so i can hold the RPM up high during the shifting, this can be done easily in standalone ECUs, but can it be done using tunerpro, and ostrich?

I did the firmware update, although it was the latest one on my ostrich2, but now I can trace it, maybe there were errors and cleared with the update

gavin, are you using the SST 27SF512 chips? for me 27SF512 chips did the same thing, every day with new AFR, its like if the chip go crazy and run a different map every time, so I switched to 27C512 they are harder to deal with regarding erasing, but so far they are good, and gave me a constant tune...

if you want to use data from the KTS multiplexer, it should be connected anyway, the socket alone wont help, i tried it with my KTS 500, to take data while the car on dyno, and wasn't that effective, i had to interrupt the ESI[tronic] software to be able to extract data to excel sheet or other softw...
