|The mount is a piece of tinted Acrylic bent with a paint stripper heat gun. Just clamp the end, heat it up and fold it over. Cut the mouse slot out with a router. Touch screen would be real nice if I could get a small one. Actually that was the main motive for buying it was the small screen size/small total footprint. I've also discovered there is a minimum size for these gauges before ScannerPro just ignores part of the gauge. Not a real big deal, but if they are too small, you loose part of the gauge. I'm assuming it is partially the limitation of the screen resolution being only 600 in the vertical.
I'll tell you what, it would be nice if I could turn the brightness down at night. There is very little internal adjustment. At night I have two layers of that tinted Acrylic hanging over the screen just to get it tolerable. Know of any 3rd party software to dim the screen further or maybe even invert the colors? Actually if ScannerPro would invert the colors, that would solve it, or have a night mode with black background.
