Kind of cool to put some indicators over others.
Need to squeeze fans in there somewhere (Even though I don't have electric) I was going to put up some monitor shots too but they come out unreadable.
The one marked FP Volts is set for TPS% but the text keeps displaying wrong until refresh/resize. No biggie.
The right side indicators are nice for seeing calculated values and also the raw volts.

yea, ya know i was thinking about that, it would look ultra sweet if the black border wasnt there *drools* (hopes mark gets rid of the borders, and makes background white)

Crap man. You guys are taking the dash thing pretty seriously, eh? You guys are nutty. I love it!

I need to add the ability to move gauges up and down in the guage list, as the gauge order represents the z-order in the dash (gauges at the top of the list of drawn before gauges at the bottom of the list).

Down the road you'll be able to completely customize the look of each gauge type (border on/off, background color, etc).

Thought I would show off my dash here for fun. I'm really liking this Acer netbook for this application. Its small, and convenient.

I'm actually running live video at the same time I'm running ScannerPro. The live video is for my back up camera. It gives me everything I need right at my finger tips.

Of course the best thing is it is Running WinXP. Using a Micro Connectors USB to Serial adapter.

I'm using an Aspire One as my tuning laptop as well, except I've installed a touch screen.

What laptop mount is that?

The mount is a piece of tinted Acrylic bent with a paint stripper heat gun. Just clamp the end, heat it up and fold it over. Cut the mouse slot out with a router. Touch screen would be real nice if I could get a small one. Actually that was the main motive for buying it was the small screen size/small total footprint. I've also discovered there is a minimum size for these gauges before ScannerPro just ignores part of the gauge. Not a real big deal, but if they are too small, you loose part of the gauge. I'm assuming it is partially the limitation of the screen resolution being only 600 in the vertical.

I'll tell you what, it would be nice if I could turn the brightness down at night. There is very little internal adjustment. At night I have two layers of that tinted Acrylic hanging over the screen just to get it tolerable. Know of any 3rd party software to dim the screen further or maybe even invert the colors? Actually if ScannerPro would invert the colors, that would solve it, or have a night mode with black background.

Night mode is a good idea.

There is no 3rd party software to dim the screen, although the last couple of BIOS updates have altered the brightness table a bit, but not for the better. I agree, though, that the screen is incredibly bright.
