adding A/C raised idle definition?

Post by rokcrawlin85 »

I was hoping to get some info on adding an A/C idle rise definition to my 8747 ecm using the $4F mask. i have my A/C converted to an on board air compressor and mould like to have the idle rise a few hundred RPM to help the motor out at idle. Any info to get me pointed in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

It's not hard to add another Paremeter to XDF in TunerPro but having a dissembled and commneted hack is needed.

I found the data stream of 1227787 $4F to be identical to 1227747 $42 except one byte word name. So I changed it and made a $4f ADX that is well upgraded then origanal. You can grab it and the $4F hac here:

If that does not have it you may want to look at $42 xdf or $42 hac. The 1227747 $42 and 1227787 $4F came in same vehicles. 7747 was for 700R4 trans with TCC and 7787 came with Turbo 400. Chances are what your looking for is there same place or very close and you can compare and find address needed for your change. HTH! :D
