this maybe simple but...how do you import the chip program once it is loaded in the buffer of the flash/burn to the tuner pro? I have tried to save to a file, and then import from that file...nothing happens. what did I miss? thanks, dominick .

o.k. what i have is flash/burn on one part of the screen, and tuner pro on the other, and the j3 adapter plugged in the usb port with the chip's program loaded in the burn buffer, are you saying that the tuner pro isn't recognizing the flash/burn loaded?

OK, YOUR RIGHT, I PLUG IN THE BURN(J3 BOARD), THEN OPEN UP TUNER PRO, IT DOES RECOZ, THEN OPEN PROM I/O, THEN THE FNB OPENS AND I READ CHIP THE SAME AS BEFORE, NOW I SAVE IT TO MY DESK TOP WITH ENDING .XDF TAG, THEN CLOSE FNB, THEN TRY TO IMPORT IT FROM THE TUNERPRO HEADER CLICK FILE>OPEN BIN>I SEARCH DESKTOP AND CLICK MY FILE.......NOTHING HAPPENS. I DO HAVE DEF GUFB LOADED...BUT NO INFO COMES UP FROM THE CHIP. I MEAN IF I OPEN SCALARS,FLAGS,TABLES, THERE IS NO INFO...THIS SHOULD BE THE EASY PART, I HAVE TUNED THE MOTOR WITH THE MEGASQUIRT SO ONCE I READ THIS CHIP, I SHOULD BE O.K.,THANKS FOR YOUR HELP,DOMINICK

tried .bin ext doesn't help. i know it has info in the buffer because it says file size 32768 bytes when i save it. what else can i try? oh, i do disconnect the fnb after the buffer loads, leaving it hooked up makes no difference. will tuner pro find the info no matter where it is in the hex? i tried and opeded every table to see if anything was there...nothing. it must be a simple, and i feel really stupid...missing something!dominick

I WAS MISSING SOMETHING STUPID... THE START ADDRESS SHOULD READ 030000, NOT 003000. THE FILE LOADS FINE NOW, AND I CAN READ, CHANGE, AND BURN IT, THANKS,DOMINICK.
