New(er) Release(s) of RT Very Slow

Post by tightmopedman9 »

When scrolling through a datalog, it can sometimes take over 1 second for TunerPro to respond. This problem is independent of the log loaded.

I believe this issue started with 5.00.10277, but it may have started with 5.00.10146. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of an older version to test.

Also, could an option be added to disable the new feature that allows for the modification of axes from within a table? I've inadvertently changed the axis a few times now. Also, because of this feature, selecting data on a row or column basis no longer works.

Reverting to version 5.00.10146.00 solved the issue related to the slow response.

As for the direct editing of axis values from within a table - if the axis type is changed to 'Linked, Scale' then the axis values cannot be edited directly from the table. Double clicking the axis brings up the relevant definition for modification. This is a great implementation. I should have realized this earlier

If logs are very large/long, performance can deteriorate. Values are cached (*.xdlcache) in order to feed the data monitor view quickly. Building this cache takes more time the longer the log is. Prefer shorter logs.
