are you trying to use tunerpro V4 or V5? V5 is only officially supported on XP SP3 and later(though it has been made to work on XP SP2, that i know of). I am using Tunerpro RT V5. You should be able to download a proper ADS at moates.net, in the file manager. The ADS deciphers the datastream. You can use the ADS, watching values, without a bin or XDF loaded. If you're not planning to use TP RT to tune, you may want to look at using WinALDL, since I believe it supports your c...

Sounds like you are using TP RT V4. Have you selected a proper ADS? This is what deciphers the datastream. Click on Tools>Preferences>ALDL/EMULATION tab, then set up the com port there.
