I am using the $42 ADS file on a 7747 and most everything seems to work well, and even the few gauges that I have added, like KPA for the map as opposed to voltage.
What I have noticed is that everytime we start the truck the coolant starts high, very high at 171 C*, and then once the truck warmsup it reads about 55 to 60 C*, basically inverted from what it should read. Actual engine temp is closer to 80 C*.
I tried the look-up table, whihc shows F*, which reads fine, starting low and rising with temp, though I haven't been able to verify accuracy against the actual engine temp, since I was using datalogs play with the gauge.
What I would like is to have the gauge show proper value C*, since the tables and constants use C* and not F* and makes it easier to make the changes if the gauges show the same scale as what the bin/xdf shows.
Ideas?
Is there a way to make up a proper lookup table for C*?
