Eec-IV Datalogging

Post by codedout »

Will there ever be datalogging support for Eec-IV IE T4M0 and J4J1 processors. It would be even nicer to be able to output to Eec Analyzer. This I would pay for.

I don't know of any way to datalog EEV-IV without additional hardware piggybackked off of the ECM. Hardware isn't my bag. =(

Assuming someone could come up with the hardware, what interface with the pc would be required and what information on the eec's data output would be required?

The interface would depend on the hardware. It could be serial or USB/VCP. The data would be the typical data you'd expect from the ECM - i.e. all monitored sensors and interesting calibration data (target idle, target AFR, etc).
