Autoprom Issue

Post by SRP »

Hey Mark. I finally got to Craig and got me another, USB this time, Autoprom. Well I got it going but I get a SES light and can connect with the ALDL but cannot get any data. This is on an 87 Vette. Having idle surge issues but cant do much without any feedback. Enlightn me and tell me how stupid I am. :D
Thanks,
Tracey Scott

Were you able to get any traction on this issue?

Well I still have the instability with the ALDL and occasional problems with verifying the bin, which usually leads to the car running like crap. Any ideas?
Thanks,

Did you disable the checksum by uploading AA to the mask ID byte?
