[Vega v-6]

My Buick motor is transplanted in a Vega. I don't have a ALDL plug in. (yet) I do have the C437 plug. Do i need it or does using serial port from Maft pro offer the same info and features? And if i've got to connect to the ALDL who's got the best cables to use now. Does Tunerpro show BLN's or IAC counts? Or do i have to have a scanmaster or... I'm still learning all systems right now ...can you tell?
