Hello everyone,
I am trying to change the program in the prom to effect the rev limiting. The engine is a mid to late 80's TPI 4.3 Chevy setup.
I pulled the file out of the Prom. But with the different editing software out there. I don't see an option to limit the engine RPM’s.
What am I missing here?
I just want to limit engine rpm's nothing else. At this point.

I haven't heard of a 4.3 TPI.
Keep in mind that you need to edit the bin with the appropriate ECU file (one that matches the code mask of your bin).

Sorry , TBI throttle Body injected. I don't see a table in the ECM file to change the rev limiting. Am I missing something ?

I pulled the Eprom info I did get a differnat Check sum. So My soldered lead deal did not work.
But I have the Prom info (AYWH) letter on the prom label
The ECU part # is 1228934 or a 16196346 am I going to have to pull the info out off the ecmu it self ?
