BLM TABLE

i know youre flooded with requests for ne features and nearly though V5 but what about a BLM table in the aldl scanner.ive allways tuned with BLM's as do many others but none of the 8192 baud aldl readers have a blm table would be a nice addition somewhere in tunerpro/scannerpro.

I'm curious what you mean by a "BLM table"?

I've always understood the BLM to be used to report a variation in added or removed fuel, in responce to what the O2 sees.

a rpm vs kpa table in the aldl section displaying BLM numbers so one can devide the number displayed by 128 to get the percentage of ve to add or remove from the ve table to get the ve right worked out of fuel trims as you have said

Hmmm...

I've never heard of anyone actually being very sucessful trying calculations like that.

I've read and seen so many variations on what a "correct" BLM correction calculation is over the years, that makes me wonder if there could ever be a calculation used as such to correct the VE tables.

Would be nice if there was a way to get something like that to work, properly.

i do it all the time when logging with winaldl and tuning $5D holden bins just devide 128 by the actual blm shown or it could be the other way round and it gives you the percentage to enter into the toolbox of tunerpro for the ve table select multiply enter percentage click go one or 2 logs gets its perfect in no time

thats pretty much what the kalmaker auto update does to auto tune the ve table isn't it!

but yeah i know what your saying, winaldl has a table which shows the blms at certain load points .... its easy to get it out of the ecm just a matter of displaying it in a correct layout.

i looked at scannerpro histrograms to do it .... i dunno how to do it or even if the histogram will do it but i'd be interested to know if it could ?

There is a histogram in the $8D S_AUJP V4 contents that is set up to do exactly what you asked.
Will give you all the BLM readings in a RPM Vs. MAP table.
Several other are included too like MPG estimate by speed and MAP.
You can use those definitions to add the function to yours.
The packages are posted on Moates site.

silly me just realised you can allready do this with scannerpro LOL so i guess thats whats being used in V5 looks great only one downfall was the auto row labells would be nice to be able to select the map values myself as they dont match the bin map values if i go over 80kpa which is fine for BLMs but i want to do O2 volts over 80kpa and it splits the table at odd kpa values when i choose 11 cells as the last few cells are 5kp apart not 10.and the other issue was not being able to invert the axis down the side of the table to further match my VE table the rpm automatically plots from top down instead of bottom up like VE in tunerpro apart from that a nice exiciting discovery great product cant wait for tunerpro V5 so i can pay for it and start using it LOL

I'm trying to get the program RT Ver 5 to create a datalog RPM/MAP(in Kpa) = BLM table with no success. I've seen screenshots of WinALDL which show this type of display/table. I'm running a 7427 ECM and it is not compatible with the slower 160 Baud WinALDL. Per Mark Mansur Ver 5 will create this type of data display table. Can anyone take me step by step through the process? I'm new at this (isn't everybody at some time) so I suspect/know that I'm missing something.

I made one from scratch with TPV5 in the historygrams for 1227747 and it works great. I was so used to using WinALDL and tuning fuel by the BLMs I just made one. Here's what it looks like in NotePad. There are still some changes needed when adding this to an ADX file in Aquisition, edit definition and history table.
