I understand how the "Payload Offset" is worked out, but how do we calculate or know the number of bytes for the "Payload Size"

By reading the source data from which you're creating the definition.

Australian holden commodores, VR,VS,VT. Would I need this also for the earlier VN-VP 160 baud cars? I have made up some ADS. but am having trouble connecting and getting data with tunerpro. Scannerpro will connect with an imported ADS. but gives a lot of false figures.

Unfortunately I don't know of a single source of information for Holden ALDL datastreams, although it must be out there somewhere.

From what are you creating the ADS file that you've created?

I suppose we could do this all day.

I don't know. I haven't come across it myself.

my appologies, I did not mean to post the same reply/question twice. Not trying to be a smart a**e. Thans for the replies anyway.

Hi

You might try to download EFI live V4 Evaluation version.
I think they have some of the Holden ALDL streams.
They also have a rather good help section in the program,
It did at least help me a bit creating a Scannerpro definition file
for my Corvette -90

Hope it helps
Gunnar
