Datatracing jumping from last column to first

Post by PhoB »

Hello,

i found this problem on all cars i tuned, yet. Bosch motronic or magnetti marelli.

Problem is, when engine reach the maximum column of map (on magnetti marelli its the RPM, on motronic is a LOAD) then datatracing highlight jump to the first column(=the lowest RPM or LOAD).
Its only display problem.

It happending on XDF downloaded from other autor and on my own.
Using Ostrich 2.0 , doesnt matter if 27128 up to 27C512 original eproms ecu.
TunerProRT 5.0 (7686) registered.

thanks

I think this is a bug in TunerPro. I've seen it, but haven't been able to reproduce it on the bench. I'll look into it.

I haven't released the build with this fix yet. It will be the next one that I release. I've got quite a few other fixes and changes in it, all of which I'm in the process of finalizing. Should be out in a week or two.

Actually, build 7774 does have this fix in it. Please confirm that you're still seeing this issue on build 7774.

Thanks,

Hi Mark. Just cam across this thread. I have the latest build from 6/2012 and data tracing still does this, as it has always done on all the cars I've tuned and on all versions of TP. Never been a big deal, but just letting you know it still happens.

Cheers, KJ

Send me an ADX and XDL that shows the behavior and I'll take another look.

Thanks!

Hi. Wow that was a quick response! Okay I'll send you the xdfs (and relevant bins if necessary) tomorrow (ie. later today!).

BTW I just emailed you requesting an update to help with calculating axis breakpoints in Bosch Motronic bins.

Cheers, KJ
