Autoprom emulation stopped working

Post by Tanker_ »

I used to be able to emulate with my APU1, but for the past few months this feature no longer seem to be working. The device connects without any issues and I can use the dataloging part just fine. Also I can burn chips without problem using Flash&Burn.
There seem to be no issues on the tunerpro side, as it uploads the bin to the emulator and the verification also confirms the bin.
But when I try to start the car with emulated bin the fans kick in on ignition and the car wont start. Checksum disabled of course. My car is a 93 LT1, but the same happens with any other car.
I installed the latest FTDI drivers and checked the emulation cable for broken connections and also the connections on the autoprom pcb for the ribbon cable connector. Unfortunately I don't have another device to read out the emulated bin...
Any suggestions what else could I try?
