i have a commodore vn v8 is there any way i can tune in real time if so what do i need thanks heaps....

You need an ostrich emulator if you cant flash your chip.

Simon i'm using the Ostrich 2.0 on my injected monaro (VN 5.0)and it is brilliant.I changed my slow 160 baud rate 808 ecu to the 082 (VR manual) ecu as it is 8192 baud rate (much faster data transfer)The 082 ECUs are hard to get (costly)Instead get the 1227165 ECU from the US through ebay as they are very cheap and use your memcal.
I use Mark's Tunerpro RT (whatelse!)
to modify the chip and datalog with EFI-Live V4 obd1 as there is no working ADS.file for the 16183082 ecu and $12 that i know of to run aldl through T/proRT 
as i'd love to use that too..... 
to mark.......oneday i will learn.
Gonna read sixshooters editorial even though it won't suit my needs.
I also payed my $30.00 registration to Mark for his great program and time.
