Need some help understanding an error.

Post by LarsRoug »

Hello,
I am using TunerPro for my buell 1125R 2008, and when I am reading the ECM, I get some errors on the pages 14 and 15 by the look of the logfile. Can anyone explain for me why this is happening and if there is something I can do to fix this?
I have not dared to do any tuning yet when not being sure it's fully working and not faulty.

This is from the logfile:

Serial Device: COM1
ECM Type: "BUEZD0P0 12-17-08"
Data will be written to file
"C:\Program Files\EcmRead_Mono\nytt\BUEZD0P0 12-17-08_20110824-203118.xpr"
Open serial device COM1.
Read type from ECM: "BUEZD0P0 12-17-08"
Close serial device COM1.
Open serial device COM1.

Read ECM: page 1 fully read.

(-Everything looks fine so far-)

Read ECM: page 13 (256 bytes) done.
SendRequest(): Error: response is not ACK: 0x15
SendRequest(): Error: invalid request/address error
SendRequest(): Error: response is not ACK: 0x15
SendRequest(): Error: invalid request/address error
Read ECM: premature end of page 14.
Read ECM: page 14 (44 bytes) done.
SendRequest(): Error: response is not ACK: 0x15
SendRequest(): Error: invalid request/address error
Read ECM: page 15 (0 bytes) done.
Read ECM: reading XData.
SendRequest(): Error: response is not ACK: 0x15
SendRequest(): Error: invalid request/address error
Read ECM: end of XData.
Read ECM: XData (40 bytes) done.
Close serial device COM1.
Read ECM: got EEPROM data (3412 bytes).

Thankfull for any input or help that I can get regarding this issue, I am a noob when it comes to tuning buell's :)

Best Regards, Lars R. Sweden

Sorry for the delay, but the log output appears to be from ECMRead, not from TunerPro. Have you contacted Gunthar, its author (www.ecmspy.com)?

This error is known and its false data.

Just add the rear/write plug in to Tunerpro Rt and use that now everything is in an all in one program for you.

Hello!
If I should use Tunerpro RT should I use XPR file for release 4 or 5? Tunerpro RT or tunerpro? they differ.
