i know this an older post but I have a similar issue. How do you add pids to OBDWiz that arent there? The lack of knock has annoyed to hell out of me. I've always logged ignition timing to look for the evidence of a knock.

i wonder if a wrong xdf would allow to JUST turn off vats... i guess i can try, if it doesnt work i can throw to factory bin back on

well I was hoping that was a more active forum, but thats ok. i went ahead and ordered an OBDLink Bluetooth deal. Will be here Monday. lets see how it goes

Or would I be better off using LS Droid and one of those bluetooth OBD2 Plugins? I have a Linux Toughbook Laptop with bluetooth. I wonder if i can get TunerPro to work in Linux.

I saw the RT supports a bunch of Moates and a few others, but saw nothing about hardware for the regular TunerPro
