I have been playing with my 540i and got great results I only have a functionsheet for the ME7.3 and ME7.1 (not for the ME7.2) so some items still need deciphering before they are added to the XDF

I have a XDF for the me7.2 running the m62tub44 the XDF was generated from the WinOLS project floating around for the e53 x5 and cross referenced against a dump of my e39 540i It's rather extensive you can find the funktionsramen for the me7.2 used in the 540i with some googling forums wont let me p...

the offsets listed in the memory are in active ROM memory

ROM starts at 0x800000 OR at 0x810000

therefore subtract ROM from offset mentioned in a2l and you SHOULD have a location

in my BIN file the locations were not all EXACTLY precise so I adjusted accordingly
