Problem solved! Got another tuningprogram to make it happen.
TunerPro was not up to the task. Too bad 12 hours of work down the drain!

I can add some more info. The PD115 Engine is upgraded with the bigger PD130-160 injectors, cylinderhead is ported and intake manifold is a Volvo unit cut, welded and ported to maximum flow. My first Bright idea was to steal the wife's cars software (PD130) and put in mine to better suite the injecto...

VW EDC15P 1,9tdi-PD locked parameters?!
I have sucessfully made two different XDF-files now, one for a PD115 and one for PD130, both Passat. They are similar but has the maps located totally different so Ive put in some 10-12 hours of work in them now, located axis info in the code and so on. Even found the algorithms for calculating Inje...

you should never touch air mass meter maps, That is a matter of opinion! When I worked proffesionally as a Engine Engineer at a swedish supercar factory I always finetuned the MAF-conversion table on each engine to suit the injector fluctation that comes when you buy injectors in bulk. In an econom...

Another couple of hours burned in the sign of Hexcode. 8) Now I have sorted out all 31 maps that WinOLS could help me with. I can see almost as many single-row tables aswell in the hexcode, but I cant figure out how to store them in my XDF-file. Now the decoding work has begun. I started with the mo...

Ok. Since like always nobody wants to, or is able to help me, Ill have to learn the stuff myself. After a couple of hours with WinOLS and TunerPro side by side, I managed to sort out about 32 Bosch style maps, and by now I have 16 of them made in my XDF-file. My eyes start to cross and hex-numbers a...

It is two identical chips because its two identical DME boxes! Its just as simple as that :D The whole EMS is built by components from the six cylinder engines, and then doubled up! Two DME (and one EML-box which sync and drive the throttles) Two crankpickups Two MAF-sensors Two CLT-sensors (and one...
Injector size is only one value that determine the final amount of fuel delivery. Injector opening time and Battery voltage correction is two other very important values that all ECUs must deal with, and with that in mind all files must contain this information also. The search must go on. By mappni...

XDF for ME 5.2
I have a BMW 540 E39 with ME 5.2 , Bosch 0 280 204 467 and I managed to get a KWP2000+ to read the file by telling it it was a ME 5.2.1 for 1.8-litre engine.
Now I need a XDF-file for it to be able to modify the 32kb bin-file I got out.
How can I get help with this?
