noticed i cannot get tunerpro to calculate the proper checksum for motronic 1.3 as it has an offset which must be factored in and there is no facility to do this in the checksum tab under edit xdf header info.

would be a good addition to the software and shouldnt be too hard to add?

im thinking i already answered this via email for u but you can replace the m1.1 ecu with an m1.3 ecu. straight swap, unplug the 1.1 unit and plug in the 1.3 unit. you cant swap 1.1 and 1.3 chips about though, you can swap 1.1 chips for other 1.1 chips and 1.3 for other 1.3 though. also M30B30 files...

357 990 may be chip/software number.. hard to know unless you check and its in the code of the bin file somewhere or on a label on the chip. bosch software numbers (for older motronic anyway, not sure about newer) are always 1 267 XXX XXX. you may be able to use a different bin/software version for ...

if you cannot find an XDF then the only option would be to make one. you can use winOLS demo to manually search for maps but unless you know what you are looking for it will take alot of time and alot of learning/help from others that know about motronic.

yes, 0 261 208 078 is the ECU number and 1 037 367 441 is the software number (of the bin file) and M154 means motronic 1.5.4

you need to use a program such as WinOLS demo to locate and try to figure out the main fuel and ignition maps and then create an XDF for tunerpro. alternately you could pay someone else to make an XDF for you.

possible to trace a single map for activity but i dont think u can trace the entire file or trace/log a file. maps have to be traced individually for activity.

it is possible to trace portions of code if u create an XDF table with the area of the file u want to trace tho.
