Add a button in ADX file

It would be a nice feature to be able to add a Button to an ADX Dashboard. I would then like to connect the button to a Macro or command. In my case, I have custom command that arms Immobilizer code and disarms the code. There is no easy way to achieve this because in my case the ADX file is passwor...

XDF Normalizing function - how does it work?

So I am looking at using the values from table that shows Idle RPM vs ECT as the Axis values for another table, but to calculate the RPM values in the Idle RPM vs ECT table, I need to do an interpolated lookup of the values from an RPM table. It seems that using a Linked, Normalized Label Source mig...

Add the ability to display a hex value as binary

Hi Mark, I know this will probably never make the short list, but it would sure be nice to be able to display a byte as binary. This is particularly useful where each bit is a status flag. I have achieved this by making a huge lookup table, but you can only display it in the list view and not in the...

Dashboard Analogue Gauge Properties addition

It would be really nice to have the ability to set the divisor for the tick units. I am trying to display an RPM Analogue gauge that reads from 0 to 6000 RPM. It seems that the gauge is displayed automatically with the tick based on the range/10. So the 0 to 6000 gauge has ticks displayed as 0, 600,...

Hi Matt, Don here, I would use the TechEdge adx file located here: http://www.tunerpro.net/downloadBinDefs.htm Scroll down to the wideband definitions. I would then hook up your ECU map sensor as an input to the TechEdge wideband. You will then have RPM, Boost and Lambda as inputs. Then create a His...

I did a quick search and it looks like your ecu bin definition file (DXF) and data stream definition (ADX) are in the download area under $0D - 16197427. Other info on the net says this: $0D 16196395 or 16197427 94 - 95 C/K Truck, Van, S-10 LN2 (16168505), 4.3L, 5.7L & 7.4L It appears the 161685...

I played with that stuff a long time ago with my 4.3 safari van. What seems strange to me is you were running a 7747 computer on a 1995. Can you describe your application? I can probably find my old info for my van. I ran it with 2 different ECU's - the 1227747 (7747) and the stock 16144288 ECU. If ...

The Hiway file in that link will patch your original Binary to add in lean burn code for light cruising down the highway. I don't see any adx file. The adx file is used to get the datastream sent out by the ECU and has nothing to do with the instrument cluster. I am confused by your questions. I thi...

Wow, that page for the $A0 has a link to my first attempt at changing a chip program. I figured out how to add the lean highway code from the $42 binary to the $A0 binary.

I posted it a long time ago, but never thought anyone ever looked at it.

I can probably help some, but I need to know some information. First of all can you post the ECU numbers from the ECU label. You mention Euro ECU, which I believe is a 38 pin ECU much like the California ECU. The XDF's you are mentioning are for the 25 pin ECU that is an older version. Also, I would...

You must be talking about the 3 timing map chip.

Rev limiter is at $???? and is a 16 bit = $11E0 = 6556 RPM
Boost limiter is at $???? and is 16 bit = $1480 = 5716 RPM

$4456 = RPM for fuel cut = $12C0 = 6250 RPM

Hope it helps, let us know

Filter for min/max values in History tables

I would like to see a feature added that sets the range of acceptable values for the history tables. This way, if you are looking at Injector pulse width, you can filter out when you are slowing down and the ECU fuel cut logic cuts the pulse width to zero.

First of all, there is no data output on a digifant ECU, so an ADX file is useless. If you read the post where that image was posted, it talked about custom code. Getting an ADX and wiring pin 20 will not help you at all. Secondly, using a Moates socket booster does not help with hit tracing on digi...

Go to http://www.ecuconnections.com web and find post

"G60 / digifant-1 SINGLE TIMING MAP XDF *See notes last page*"

use "digifant*" in the search to find it.

there is one there that can be downloaded. Not entirely correct but it is a good start.
