Which cable chip for Ducati 748 Magneti Marelli 16M ECU

Hi Guys,
i have been googeling for 2 days but i cant seem to find a straight answer.
Which USB to OBD cables are compatible with Tunerpro for reading (not writing) Magneti Marelli 16M ECU via the 3pin Fiat connector?
(i already have the Fiat 3pin to OBD cable, still need a OBD to USB cable)
VAG-COM KKL CH340 chip
VAG-COM KKL FTDI FT232RL chip
ELM327 CH340 chip
ELM327 FTDI FT232RL chip
Do ELM327 Wifi units also work?
Does it matter if it is a VAG-COM or ELM327?
Does it matter if it is a FTDI or CH340 chip?
Does it matter if it is a counterfeit or original chip?
