DA not connecting

I can not get da to connect. I am using windows 7 ultimate. loaded tunerPro Rt, updated the ports. installed xdf(32.x9df) ads (1227165 160.ads) and imported it to adx. configured plug in (com3) and have a valid test. when I try to connect da says connecting and never connects. Tried the 10k switch in both positions .I've been in Moates guides many times but I can't figure this out. I'm working on a 86 F body TPI.

Got it. 2 things.First had a buddy update ports,it was set to com port 5. don't why i had good test. Second I renamed one of the files,it didn't like it. reloaded original downloaded file and no problems. Thanks Moates.
