413 red label non vanos afr is (- - -) 19.0+ Is very rich afr. I can not straighten out. why?

Hello, you say rich, but AFR 19.0 is lean (too much AIR).
Also you mention 413 DME and non vanos.
Post more information. :wink:

For example 14.7kg air and 1kg fuel induces 14.7:1 AFR.
Best power comes about 12.5-13 AFR, if using gasoline.
If your AFR gauge shows 19.00+ AFR and engine still runs, your AFR gauge fails, or your engine misfiring, when unused oxygen gets in exhaust. Unused oxygen causes error to AFR calculation.

i have http://www.ebay.com/itm/AEM-30-4110-Wid ... vU&vxp=mtr Works perfectly However shows 17.0+ :/ :? Candles are black fuel is rich?

Normal aspirated engine AFR :
IDLE 14.7
Cruising 13 to 13.5
Full Throttle 12.5 to 13

Boosted Engines
Idle 14.7
without boost 13 to 13.5
With boost 11.5 to 12 ( to be safe keep it under 12.5 )
