I've used tunerpro successfully on GM, Ford. and a couple others
Trying my first BMW, downloaded
1995 318i E36 M42disall/B18 w/ 626 chip (282 dme) XDF
and the stock282.bin
open tunerpro and spark tables look normal

the stock chip is 1 267 358 595

Problem I have is when I read the chips I have two one stock and one modified, and then open either of them in tunerpro the spark tables are garbage
Question
Is the chip a 27c256?
is the bin file at address 0?
What am I missing?
or is the XDF not for these BIN's

Yes, the chip is 27c256 and work , for my E36 m42b18

Thanks for your reply, I don't understand what I am missing. maybe I am not getting the chip read correctly? Is the start address at 0000

Hello
You need a xdf for 595 chip.
And you are using an xdf for 626 chip.

I understand now the last three digits are the xdf identifier, is there an xdf for the 595
