Can't save an xdf file in Tunerpro

Post by ukiltmybrutha »

I have an xdf created in Tunerpro 4. I can modify that xdf in TunerPro 5 (example add a table) and then save it with no issues. Once I close TunerPro 5 and try to reopen the newly saved xdf in Tunerpro 5 all hell breaks loose.

I get the following error message after double clicking Tunerpro 5:

"Failed to load C:\users\username\desktop\map2.xdf Names must start with an alphabetic character or _ or :"

I can save try to save it as "a.xdf" which obviously an acceptable filename per that error message and get the same result.

I really need the copy table functionality that 5 has which 4 does not seem to have or I would not bother posting this.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

That error message isn't coming from TunerPro directly. I'm not sure what's up with that. Can you drag and drop the XDF into TunerPro to open it? What happens when you browse directly to it through XDF->Open?

I wonder if there's another program associated with xdf files that is causing a conflict.
