Tunerpro rt v4

Im new to tunerpro. I got my 93 lt1 up and running hooked computer up with tumerpro to do the emulation. I also have a scan tool hooked to the aldl connector. With car running in the VE tables should tunerpro light up the value ( ie.rpm,map 59.20) so i know which one cell needs changed? Right now iam confused because at idle with hotcam idle will be 750-775 and map will range from 47-49. Like it is I don't know which table to change.Map 45 or 50. Rpm 750 or 800?I seen a video on youtube showing the cell being lit up.
