I have the same question. Looking to tune a 96 7.3L powerstroke. I dont understand the Bin and definition files, what are they? Any articles You know of to help me get started? I dont mean to hijack the thread but didnt see a point in making a new one.
Thanks
John

tunerpro is sort of a universal tuning program. the definitions are files that tell tunerpro how the ecu of your choice works. once tunerpro knows how things are laid out in that ecu, you use a bin file to actually tell the ecu what you want it to do.

im sure more tech savy people could explain it more acuratly, but that is the simplest way to explain it so the average person can understand

Hello
Keep up the good work

I have the necesary hardware to read and write my ecu
It works !
Now i want to modify the bin file
I will need a XDF file
Can i make it or scan it or download it?
The ecu bin file has this number 1037381401
