Changing a 2003 P59 to DBC

Post by custodian »

I have a 2003 P59 that can be changed from DBW to DBC. Which parameter do I need to go into to change the value from 1 to 0? I have TunerPro and PCM Hammer.

I have tuned a few of the 411 PCM's, just haven't messed with any of the P59's.

You ever find an answer? I'm just starting out with this but I think it's just a question of the OS. If you flash it with a dbc os I think you can then put it in a dbc truck.

Not all P59 has IAC driver to control idle speed (as far as I heard - most of them don't)
I saw unsuccessful attempt on youtube where IAC driver chip was desoldered from p04 and installed to p59
But that man was very bad in soldering and probably overheated IAC driver
Or maybe not installed all missed additional resistors and capasitors
To successfully add IAC driver it needs P59 DBC as sample to copy all circuits
