1997 Ford Expedition

New to tuning. Not new to modifying. I was looking for a cheaper way to tune my vehicles and came across this site. I have a 1997 Ford Expedition like the title says. I would love to give this thing more grunt. Now the mechanical stuff is all gravy for me. But I want to learn more and do more by tuning my own vehicle. So what I'm looking for is some pointing in the right direction. Is there anything to get me started in the tuning of my truck. I'm probably going to get Tuner Pro RT. But until I have a good idea of what I need to get to get started and a firm direction. I'll wait to purchase it and use the free version. So anyone have any help for this newbee?

the problem you'll run into is getting the strategy file to calibrate the vehicle

the cheapest your going to get one for is $600 but that allows you to tune an infinite amount of those vehicles
