send commands

Post by mecanicus »

Hello,
iwant to send commands. Ihave found "view, toolbars, tools" and the send button is viewed. But the list view with commands stays empty. How can i populate this view with my commands out of the adx-file? bin, xdf and adx are loaded but tunerpro is not connected to the car. Do i have to connect first? I'm exploring the tool!

The command(s) need to be included in a macro and one or both of the 'Manually Sendable' check boxes ticked.

Can you explain that in detail?
I have found nothing about macros in the help. From my understanding, I have clear dtc in my adx file. This command exists out of four single commands (0xF4 0x56 0x0A 0xAC ) so "clear dtc" should be a macro. But this is not shown in the listbox in front of send. How to populate the listbox?

Ok, i could manage it myself. To explain it for other newbies.
1. load desired adx-file
2.within acqisition choose edit definition
3.extend commands
4. when you have a command with extension macro open this
5. enable "while not monitoring "
6. click " save"
Now the listbox is populated.

This way you can delete error codes.
If you want to monitore error codes.
poit 1 and 2
3.extend dashboards
4."add new Item" (on bottom)"
5. cchose new item and give it a title ("Error Codes"
6."Add Gauge"
7. choose the error code after clicking on Item.
8. Gauge type "flag"
9 give it the position on the screen ( have a look to the main dashboard as example)
10.give it a frame last point on "Gauge element within gauge colors)
11. add all your error codes
12. Save.

When you open the dashboard now you have the coice on left upper corner.
Thats what I explored in theorie, now I will try if it will work!!
