Release Attached Hardware button.
Is there a way to add a release attached hardware button to the toolbar?
I've looked but can't find a way to do it.
I guess I'm really suggesting this be added, since I am posting in this section. lol
Thanks

Sometimes there is some change that happens to an XDF without me realizing it, and if there was an autosave feature this change would always happen. I like the way it is currently, asking to save any changes when I close Tuner Pro or open an new XDF. It's easy enough to save a modified XDF as it is,...

$0D, $0E and $31 all use the same location for mask ID. I don't know what you mean by the program not running well. :? Loading or not loading an XDF does not have an effect on the datastream (ADX) through TP RT. What do you mean by this: Six Shooter can I be sure that the 31 that appears in the mask...

I will assume that you're talking about V5, since you haven't clarified that yet. I think you're getting caught up in the name in the title bar. I just did 3 test logs at my PC using V5.7575 (I haven't installed the latest version yet). In each test, the previous logs name was left in the title bar ...

If you're talking about V4, there won't be any changes made to it, since it's a done deal. Creating a log file in V5 is easy. What you could do is create some generic files when you have some free time and then browse to select them when you need to use them. What do you make them in? Like a notepa...

I've looked for a manual bin for that code, and haven't found one yet. Wanna point one out to me? ;) There's still one place I haven't gone through completely. Besides, the programmer would be a good idea anyway to put just an EPROM in the PCM, once tuned, so that the Ostrich can be saved from the m...

I don't have a copy of that particular bin, but the info I have says it's for an automatic, a 4L60E, so you will need to shut off a lot of tranny related things to get the ECM to play nice. You might find a manual bin for that ECM here: http://www.eagle-mark.com/Forums/index.php Even if it was a 4.3...

It sounds like you have the wrong XDF. What is the ECM service number and the BCC of the bin? The BCC will usually be a 4 letter code, that is printed on a sticker on the PROM itself. Yes, you will need an adapter to use the Ostrich or new EPROMs. Knowing which ECM you have will help guide you in wh...

Without O2 feedback, it will be difficult to tune, even if it's just installed somewhere in the exhaust system for initial tuning. You can set the closed loop enable temp to max, which should be 255*. This would eliminate the from using the O2 sensor, for fueling control. You may also have to disabl...

I know I had an earlier version of V5 save fine, in fact I know I had a few earlier version of V5 work, so I don't know what's going on here. Well tonight I did some testing, partly due to trying to find out why my laptop refused to connect to the datastream, after it shut off due to low power on the drive home from a meet tonight, while I was logging. Anyway, I decided I would finally try a few things, after it would connect again. I tri...

I didn't realize that there were no errors without the vehicle running. Are you using a power inverter with your laptop? I have heard of some people having issues, when using certain inverters. Here is a thread on FSC.com: http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forum/general-discussion/performance/tbi-tuning-...

$31 may not be the mask that you have. Just FYI, there is also a $31 that is used in the turbo Regals and Grand Nationals as well. They are not the same, they just ended up being called the same by GM for some reason. You will likely want the $0E definitions. I would assume that the 3500 has a 4L80E...

This is for a Ford application, I would assume? Are you using data hit tracing or datastream from a Quarterhorse? I know on the GM stuff, TP just uses the value in the variable that is displayed from the ADX and matches it up to the value in the axis of the table, regardless of using the whole scale...
