PS - one thing that I've thought about adding to histograms is the ability to only add histogram data if it falls under some user-defined range. This is good for statistical rejection of data that is good and valid, but out bounds for what you're interested in. This would also alleviate your issue,...

If you are referring to signed 8bit integers in the -128 to +127 range, then just specify the value as signed integer by checking "Signed" in the XDF definition editor.

He tuned at the higher temp., so when it cooled off 10ºC, it ran lean, which makes sense. The question I have is how is the fuel being metered? Is it MAF, speed/density (MAP). alpha/N?

The AEM UEGO uses (V*2)+10=AFR, so in your case AFR=(10N/255)+10.

I'll third this plan. If an error occurs receiving a packet, the error counter should increment, but the entire packet should be ignored.

It's normal for the AFR to oscillate around 14.7 with a narrow band O2 sensor, although yours seems to vary more than usual. Your NB sensor may be slow to respond causing greater swing before changing direction. Vacuum and/or exhaust leaks can also cause unstable AFR readings.

I suspect the O2 sensor. Try using the NB output from the WBO2 as input to the ECU.

There may be a problem with your XDF file where the fuel map address is incorrect.

You must press "Update" after making changes while emulating in order for the change to be sent to the ECU. It doesn't matter if the engine is running.

Sounds like you need to copy your original bin to another file name and use that for comparison after you modify the bin file you're editing.

That's just how Nissan decided to do it. The pictured map is correct. Take a look at the conversion tab to see how the numbers displayed in the map are converted.

Your fuel map looks normal. Values above 127 indicate closed loop operation. Check out theHybridka Forum for lots of Nissan tuning information.
