The starting bin, would be the stock 3.1 bin. The 3.4 OHV was not available from GM connected to an OBD1 ECM, so there are no files that will work for the displacement, and the gen3 660s were all OBD2 ECMs, other than an early version, but I think it was still flash based, and would not likely be a ...

It looks like the conversion is very similar to the Innovate LC-1. In my ADX, the conversion is: X * 0.100000 + 0.000000 But this may be more affected by what's in the bin, since there are a few selections for different WBO2 sensors, both linear and non-linear. The non-linear selections have their o...

Compare defs.
Just an idea that I thought would be useful, would be to have a compare function for the XDFs and ADXs. This way, it would be easy to find differences between these files to make sure you have the most complete file, or even see the differing names between same parameters that people use when making...

ADX/COM port possibilities?
I tune a few vehicles, or play with several different components over short periods of time. Because of this, I need to change the com port that the data retrieving device (ALDU1, Tuner View II, home made cable, etc.) is assigned to when switching between vehicles or devices. It would be nice, if th...

Flash 'N' Burn utility
I am having an issue with the Flash 'N' Burn utility built into Tuner Pro RT V5 build 7774. The read only chip sizes of 27C32A, 27C128, 27C256 and 27C512. The 32A, 128 and 256 sizes all give me a: "Error: Memory range and/or address outside selected EPROM size" When I use the 27C512 select...

The problem with using a bin file/ECM that is not programmed for oddfire is that the ECM will see the engine as if it was revving up and down quite quickly, due to the timing of the reference pulses, being oddly spaced, the ECM will see this as a change in engine speed. The time between ref pulses i...

Tuner pro has no effect on whether an engine is even or odd fire, that is, or would be part of the bin file programming. What you would need to find is a BIN file that would be set-up to understand the oddfire timing of the pulses from the ICM. I don't know of any offhand, since any oddfire engines ...

As said, the 10K ohm resistor is not needed with the '7747, and may actually cause problems if used with a '7747. Do NOT test for cable with the cable plugged into the ALDL port, especially with the key on, it WILL fail, and then you will have a tough time getting a connection to the datastream. The...
