The Y axis will either be LV8 calculation or MAF counts. Sounds more likely to be MAF counts due to the range, from the range that you mention.

I'm not familiar with the MAFT Pro, to be able to comment on that.

In your previous posts it sounded like you were trying to get the WBO2 information through the ALDL connected to the ECM.

If it was me, I would just power the fuel pump using the prime port or jumper in the relay socket, much easier than plugging in a computer to do such a simple task.

Install a new instance of Tuner Pro RT, then just copy your registration key to the new laptop. When you open the new install, it will ask for a registration key, just like you did on the current laptop.

Yes, you can use the same registration file on both computers. It's a file that you have Tuner Pro look at, when you get prompted for the registration file. You only have to do it once.

I just noticed that when trying to save the buffer to file, using the standalone F'N'B utility, that only 1 byte is written to file.

The buffer read looks fine, just not when saving.

Uhhh, I have an $85 ADX that I use on my friends car.

It seems to work better on my Win7 Lenovo laptop than my WinXP Dell laptop though.

The '7060 PCM typically runs $85.

It sounds like he's trying to make a standalone device that displays values like MPG, similar to many OEM HUDs.

I need to get back to working on my display, which I also plan to interface with the '7060, but mine will be a ways off, still learning C+ programming.

If it reads in bypass mode, I would say it's likely something else.

It's not the checksum that I am talking about but the checksum disable, which is done by setting the code mask byte to "AA".

I've never seen a checksum value of 0, personally.

You don't need to the 10K resistor for datalogging with a '7730 ECM. Some codes that will set an "ALDL idle mode" or ALDL Test mode" which in many cases will raise idle to about 1200 RPM. Does this occur with the key on and engine off, engine on, or both? Something that occurred to me...

I'd love to have actual Honda defs, but I don't own a Honda, and don't know enough about the schemes that Honda uses.

I also think there's more people in the Honda community that would rather pay for an expiring software than to actually get something to work that would be used indefinitely.
