I'm pretty sure your right as well, he mentioned that so I just threw out another option. My prefence would be a GM ECM, possibly a 16197427 would be a good choice. I'd have to think about this one for a while. The injectors on that TB are below the throttle plates, but spray at a central location....

I have a few years experience tuning, and just a couple weeks ago, I tuned a friend's car, that all he changed was the cam, from the previous tune, and it took me a couple hours to get it to idle almost stock, even though the cam has plenty of duration, over 274* IIRC, and without the tune would not...

When performing the cable test, make sure that it is NOT plugged into the ALDL connector under the dash. Many times if I have to perform that test while in the vehicle, I simply unplug the RJ45 looking connector that leads to the ALDL connector, while performing the test. You may need to add some de...

I don't understand exactly understand what you are trying to do. But it sounds like you are trying to change the value of an entire table by a constant number. If that is the case, you can highlight the entire table, use the tools editor to change the entire table, by multiplying, dividing, offsetti...

I found that or at least a page very similar a couple years ago, and thought about the same thing. For myself I decided that my time would be better spent on other projects and just buy a Moates.net Ostrich. I also didn't care for the serial based connection, since I have found USB to serial adapter...

Currently I use V4 to log the '7060. I was out on Sunday tuning a friend's 1971 Cutlass that uses a 7060 ECM. (Custom 4 bbl throttle body as well. :)) I will work on getting V5 to connect, but haven't had time yet. Getting a dump of data is more than I could get with V5 for some reason. V4 with the ...

Have you tried going back to V4.14 to make sure it still recognizes the Ostrich? Have you tried reinstalling V5? I'm not sure if you have done this, but when you are installing TP, you can assign each version to it's own folder. I.E. I have V5 installed in the generic Tuner Pro RT folder that it use...

For starters, to datalog you need and ADX file. The ADX file is used by TP RT V5 to decipher the incoming datastream, since different cars or rather different ECMs and their respective codes use different datastreams. I see this as one issue. Another issue could be setup for the cable itself. It sou...

It really is the easiest way to get the data you need, that can't be see in address hit tracing and to get tracing to work. That was probably address hit tracing that was being discussed with the BMW, since they don't have an ALDL connection, like the GMs do. I'm sure it could be used with the '7747, but I've never tried it, since I have an ALDL cable. I also have read that it's not as good as using an ALDL cable. If you...
