Have you seen this series:

This is what I use for field service. Several storage modes and programmable presets. Much better than the bulkier units that have all the knobs on them, but don't do much.

Never liked the Fluke scopes. They make great meters, but their scope is very lacking. Look at Tektronix for O-scopes.

Actually to be able to break out all the tabs to separate windows would be nice. Some things are nicer to see graphically, some are nicer to see in text form, some better in tables. The is another program that allows you to see the BLM table, the item list and the monitor all at the same time.

Say, anyone ever done a live HP calculation based on fuel flow and RPM? Not that it would be perfectly accurate, but it could be kind of fun to read out HP development in real time.

I've had a couple of times where it would be nice to have 2 instances of TunnerPro open at the same time, but it will not allow it. I've done this a few times when I've done this with ScannerPro to fix compare/fix some of the calculations. I've tried to do the same with TunnerPro and it will not let...

I guess I should maybe clarify. The engine runs pretty well and is dialed in pretty close. BLMs are all +/- 5, engine idles just fine. We spent nearly a day on it getting it this close. There are just a few things I would like to touch up. These are more planned experiments rather than trying to get...

How practical is an emulator - really?

Ok, So I've been thinking about getting an emulator and have started to wonder how practical is an emulator? Although I realize the limits of making test runs and burning chips, I was thinking about getting set up with a EX/GX remote switcher instead. I'm just not sure, since I'm the only one drivin...

I think it is the total rate per bank. The ECM has no idea how many injectors there are per bank, it is just thinking about total fuel per bank. That is the way mine is set up. Really to convert to TPI, they will often use the original chip, but then fudging the injector rate to shift the total fuel...

O2 sensor interpetation and Pulse width

I have a two part question regarding data I read under WOT. As the engine RPM increases, there is a slight down hill trend in the O2 reading. I also notice the pulsewidth decreases slightly as the RPM rises. KPA also decreases slightly as well - goes from 98 down to 92 from 2K to 4.8K rpm. Should I ...

One other clarification. The flag and the rich flat line O2 happen simultaneously. It will maintain that condition for a minute or two and then the flag goes false at the exact same time the O2 begins toggling. So I assume the rich condition is in response to the flag, as opposed to the other way ar...

What is the difference between running average and history average? From my limited knowledge on tunning, I've read that with the O2 sensor, mostly what one cares about is the fact that it toggles, not particularly how far it toggles.
