.ADX Macro send question
In editing Commands in an .ADX file, if in defining a Macro I select Manually Sendable, how do I send this Macro command once I am connected? I know in version 4 there was a dropdown list in the "ALDL Monitor/Logger" window where you could select a command to send. In version 5 there is no...

The final chapter I continued to mess around with various laptop settings until all versions of TunerPro RT would fail to successfully communicate (not my intent). At one time I got an error message about an incorrect version of winsta.dll and tried different versions only to get back to where I was...

I am told that the bad clusters most likely mean there has been contact with the read head which leaves debris that will cause more bad clusters and on. If the drive is failing I need to replace it anyway, whether or not it will fix the issue. Maybe I can get lucky ???? It is a AKMcables.com cable c...

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for the delay in responding. I am buried in work, which is not such a bad thing these days. Well, your answer is not the one I wanted to hear but it does suggest that this is most likely a problem at my end (which may also be an answer I don't want to hear). An update: I ...

This morning I tried reinstalling the latest V5 into a new directory/folder. I imported the 1227747_42.ads to a new .adx file and still I just get the status message “DA: Connecting ...” but it never does. This is probably the fourth time I have tried this, but the first time in a new directory. I o...

Unfortunately you may not be able to duplicate it on your testbench. I suspect it is a problem at my end, not one with V5. V5 was working fine on my testbench but after working on some 1227727 applications(new harness for my bench), I went back to a 1227747 to run some tests and this issue showed up...

160 baud communication prob’s w/ V5
Issue : when attempting to connect to a 160 baud ECM with TunerPro RT V5, I get the status message “DA: Connecting ...” but it never does. I read the similar TunerPro Discussion Forum “Just tried V5 can’t get $42 to connect” post but it really never gets to a solution. My issue differs somewhat in t...

Well I can't really blame this one on Windows OS (other than the fact that they hide HDD problems until they get catistrophic). Windows didn't cause my HDD to fail, though they could have made it easier to locate the problem. 90% of my programs ran great. Of course is that a good target to shot for?...

Final Notes: After a considerable amount of time and effort I now have a properly working and communicating TunerPro RT(v.4.14, actually all versions tested OK). The fix . . . . I run a diagnostic on the hard disk and found unrecoverable data errors. I replaced the laptops HDD. Did a fresh install o...

>I am running XP SP2 without any problems so I'm wondering if you have another program running that's causing a conflict. Have you tried shutting down all non essential applications/processes before launching TunerPro? Thanks for the reply. It gave me some more homework to do. On a fresh boot-up the...

Thanks for the response. >snip< >TP RT should definatly show up under applications in the task manager, I just verified that a second ago. TunerPro RT will show up under running applications in task manager once it is actually fully loaded and running(v.3.09). I believe it showing up under processes...

Trouble getting TunerPro RT to open/run
I am having problems getting the TunerPro RT software to run. I hope this post is not excessively lengthy, but I wanted to include as much detail as possible to narrow the possible causes. For quite some time I had been successfully using TunerPro RT v.4.0, AutoProm v2.5A(USB), and USB driver FTDI 1...
