How strong is the USB port on your laptop?

In the case of the '7747 and my experiance, is that the Ostrich has to be plugged into a strong USB port. The Socket booster seems to not allow power from the ECM to power up the Ostrich.

The VE numbers mean the same thing as you're used to.

The only reason for the upper map taper off to lower numbers is that engines require less fuel above thier torque peak, and is why there is the taper.

Sounds like you are using TP RT V4.

Have you selected a proper ADS? This is what deciphers the datastream.

Click on Tools>Preferences>ALDL/EMULATION tab, then set up the com port there. You can also test to make sure that TP RT is seeing the cable from that tab as well.

Try imprting "7747_mine.ads", I used that one as a base (added a few things to it), and didn't have problems with V5, that I can recall.

Also, try the latest version of V5, there was a problem importing the xdf I believe in a previous build, might have effected ads/x as well.

You can read both MEMCALs, then use the compare and difference tools to see what is different between them.
