What are all of the components you had to buy?? The engine in my truck needs freshened up and I want to put a bigger camshaft in it. Where did you buy everything at?

I Called Comp Cams today because I wanted to put a camshaft into my truck that has little duration, small lift and 108 degree lobe separation. They told me that I couldn't do it because my computer is not capable of being programmed to handle any cam but a stock one....are they right????? I don't wa...
