Re: Logging engine and trans at the same time?
I finally had a look at this yesterday and figured it out! So I can now log all the engine info and also the trans temp, line pressure and current gear etc. at the same time! I'm using $E6 but the same method would work on $0D etc. I don't know how many others are still playing with this stuff but I...

Re: Hotkey for the 'Update' button in emulation mode?
Thank you Mark!
I didn't interpret "Save Active Editor" as being the command to sync changes the emulator.
It works nicely.
Thanks again.

Hotkey for the 'Update' button in emulation mode?
Hi Mark, Is there a keystroke for the 'update' button that is shown on tables when in emulation mode? I've been trying to figure it out, but there doesn't seem to be? When I run my car on the dyno, it's really difficult to get the mouse pointer over the button as the car vibrates etc. I use the arro...

Re: Reordering XDF Items in Parameter Category view
Yes this would be very nice if it's not too much work to code. I often copy/paste/delete .xdf items to move them in the list, but drag'n'drop would be better. Drag'n'drop into categories would be neat also. I don't use categories as it's too much work to manually edit the hundreds(?) of items in the...

Re: Key shortcuts not working?
Thanks Mark.
I got it to work eventually. The first 2 key combos I tried didn't work, but the third did some time later.

Logging engine and trans at the same time?
I am using a gen4 TBI PCM (16168625) and log the engine and transmission separately as they use different ALDL comms parameters. I was wondering if it's possible to configure TP to do both at the same time? Datamaster does this, I assume by alternating between the two. I think it TP was capable, it ...

Key shortcuts not working?
Hi Mark, I've tried to assign a number of different key shortcuts to 'Load new Acquisition Definition' but they never work. The chosen key appears next to 'Load Definition File' in the Acquisition drop down menu, but it doesn't do anything. Those of us who are tuning 4th gen TBI PCMs have to switch ...

Re: saving log files
I just came here to make this suggestion also :) Also, because the .log files are stored with the .bin files, when you load a new .bin, TunerPro doesn't filter the file types in the popup window so it's possible to load a .log file in place of a bin. Easily done when you are out driving with the lap...

Question for Mark ???????
Hi Mark, I have been creating a new .ecu and would like to include some help on particular items. I see a little item help box pops up when you press F10. How do you get text into that box?? I thought it may show the text that had been entered into the "Additional Info/Help" field in the i...

ALDL Definition editor lookup table
Mark, I decided to take a look at RT's ALDL stuff with the intention of creating a definition for the 7747 to log all the normal outputs, plus spark advance and injector pulse width. I setup a few parameters without any problems, but when I entered the coolant temp lookup table as per the hac, the p...

Hey Mark,
Would it be possible to give the user the ability to organise the Constants and Tables list in the LHS column into folders such as 'Idle' 'Spark' 'WOT' "EGR' etc??
I use a 7747 and the list is HUGE! It would be nice to be able to group them logically?

Couple of simple suggestions......
Hi Mark, I have a couple of ideas, first one is very simple. When you click on a parameter in the left column, some info is provided in the footer line at the bottom of the window such as "Table #42 Y=25.00000X + 0.000 , 1 Byte Element................." etc. Any chance you could add the he...

Thanks Mangus, One other thing I noticed is that if i manually enter values into a table, then click on 'graph', all my changes disappear and the table goes back to how it started. If I press 'save', the changes are saved, but the screen closes.. This means that if i am making changes and want to se...

Bin Stacking
Hello Mark, I've just started playing with GMECM Edit and I must say it looks like an awesome little piece of software! I am currently playing with 1k bins on a 4k eprom, any chance of modifing the Bin Stacker code to stack bins of 1k size, it look like it currently will not allow stacking of bins s...
