I am aware of how it works. What I need is the numeric equation required to convert the MAP voltage to kPa. In the ALDL data for the $8F it does not have kPa available.

Data Tracing for $8F...what is the Equation Format?

Hey Mark,

I know we discussed this before and I can not find the email or thread about it.

What is the proper math equation that should be entered in "equation format" for the 2bar MAP sensor? This is for the $8F to get the data tracing working?

Thanks much!

I found a 7730 to drop in there. I am assuming that the 7730 and .ads should allow the same as the Turbo Grand Prix (8F)?

I have gotten a hold of the pin outs for each and will be doing the conversion later this week. It is definitely not a 7730 in there. :(

What .bin and ADS for 1987 Pont 6000?

Hey guys, Just did a 3.1 VIN V transplant into a 1987 Pont 6000. I am trying to find some information if this particular ECM is editable or should I just go after a VIN V 3.1L Turbo ECM 7730. The 6000's ECM shows a SVC # of 16198262. On tunercat's site it shows a 7730 ECM with $6D. I was under the i...

Honken...I did that. RPM one axis and then for the other you need kPa to show load. $0D does not have a "kPa" selection.

The floating cursor in Tuner Pro RT to show the load point. In $0D it does not have a kPa selection for the X-Y axis. I can see the cursor, but it is hung-up on RPM only.

Hey Mark,

Thank you VERY MUCH for your assistance if you had a part in it.

The customer could not be happier with 305ft/lbs of torque to the wheels. Especially considering he cam in with just shy of 125ft/lbs at first.

Thanks again man!

Any special settings on the Burn1 to read it properly, or will the Burn1 even read it?

Yes I do...

Curious and I was going to ask Craig...how do I get a basic .bin from this? Pull the factory EPROM gently and read from that?

and THANK YOU!

Anyone have $A9 xdf?

Like the title says. I have a 1995 K1500 with a 16196396 manual transmission ECM that I need to tune. I spoke with Mr. Moates and he has helped me narrow this down tremendously. I really do not want to go with TunerCat...but it looks like it is my only option at this moment if noone has this xdf. Le...

Hey Six Shooter, Thank you for the reply! I see what you are saying and it makes sense. So technically to convert the truck or the car to 2 bar...use a PCM that already has that "operating system" available. So I have vast experience tuning and modifying Turbo Grand Prixs (1227727/1227730)...

Help...2 BAR patch needed for two different setups

Hello all, Wondering if there is a way, or if it is already available, to convert something to 2 bar for boosted applications. If it is crazy in depth and someone wants to make some money getting it done...that is an option. I have two vehicles I need to get tuned: 1). 1995 GMC 1500 Vortec 35...

1991 GMC Jimmy with TBI 350...datastream issue or me?

Hey Mark, I am trying to use the 1227747_42.ads for data reading and it is incredibly slow. ex...if I blip the throttle to rev it will rise and fall in actual RPM before it shows on the dashboard as a change. All other parameters do the same thing. Is it the speed of the ECM or do I need to change s...

1995 Ford F-150 5.0L...what do I need?

Hey guys, I have a client with a 1995 F-150 5.0 that he wants to dial in for a little better power, but fuel economy is what he is wanting most. What do I need (connectors, cabling, definition file, and .ads file) to get into his ECU to tune? Are there special adapters (like the G1 adapter for the G...
