moved tan wire from position 8 to 9 and orange wire from 15 to 16.
no luck. Any ideas?

My pin out is way different. I will pin it out to the diagram and try it.
Also my vcm is on the right fender. OBDII or OBD 1.5 that is the question.
I will try it out and let you know...

it seems the next logical step for me is the check the obd plug itself. The first thing I noticed nothing in pin 16. It should be 12v constant power correct?
Do you know what the pin out should be? maybe how to check each wire for the correct signal? Hell if I'm realy lucking a wire color code?

using hyperterminal I can get a reply to typing if I use option none or xon/xoff but not using hardware.

yes I am running TP V4. I do have the 0d.ads loaded under ALDL setup. No luck. Any help would be appreciated.

cant ger a conection.

downloaded the $0d and loaded it. Do I just create a new XDF?
