I purchased a cable in 2001 here http://www.akmcables.com/

It has the 10K resistor built into it. I confirmed this recently both with a Fluke 88 (9.90K ohms), and visually by opening it (I have photos).

The resistor is soldered into the cable's printed circuit board.

Will TunerPro work with my car (newbie help needed)

I have a 1986 Pontiac Trans Am engine stuffed in a 1987 RX-7 with a T-5 manual transmission. It runs fine. I have been driving it a few days each year since I built it in 2000. A Snap-On MT2500 scanner works with it. WinALDL works with it. I tried DataMaster, but can't get that to work. DataMaster t...
