How to use Other XDF Item output in conversion editor

Hi, I'm looking for some help with the conversion editor. The TunerPro help doc states: "Other XDF Item Output - You can use this argument type to use the output of another XDF Item (another constant or a cell in a different table). This is useful if, for instance, your ECM uses a table bias. Y...

Looks like the IF function is now fixed in the latest release - SWEET!

I have another request relating to the IF Function now - Nested IF.

For instance

IF(X<20;X;IF(X<40;X*2;X*3)) Where X is the native value of the table. Doesn't seem to work properly now.

Yeah, X would be the table value.

Another feature that I would like to see pertains to emulating integer math a little better in the conversion. It would be great if you implemented both ROUND and FLOOR functions. Usage would be similar to the excel version of these functions - ROUND rounds the number to a specified decimal, and FLO...

Comment on XDF Conversion

I think it is really cool that you can now have a matrix of conversion formula for each table in your XDF. The way it appears to work now, is that the cell conversion overrides all other conversions, the column conversion overrides the general, etc. I think it would be cool if all the conversions we...

IF Statement in Table conversion

Maybe this should be in the bug section, or maybe I'm a dumbass, and I'm not doing this properly. In any case, I have an 8 bit lookup table that has a piecewise linear conversion. In order to accomplish the piecewise part, I was hoping to use nested IF statements based on the value in the table. But...

Cool, I changed the Header info to a bin size of 8000 and it works fine now.

Thanks a ton for the troubleshooting.

Seems strange that this number would prevent changes from being saved.

If I open a scaler, change the value, and press save, the scaler window closes. If I open up the same scaler window immediately, the value is back to original and not changed. So, I'm confused again.

Apparently I spoke too soon. It is not working anymore. Seemed like it worked the first time I opened the program after re-installing it, but now it won't. Something very curious when I look at the log file for the changes I made: Edit Log for jonp72ag.bin created by TunerPro. **********************...

I un-installed Tunerpro and re-installed it on a different drive (partition). Looks like that fixed the problem. It is probably an issue with Windows 7, as items located in C:\program files seem to be protected. So, windows won't allow a saved bin in the program files directory? Strange, because I w...

Non consecutive Table data

Hey - I have a suggestion which would specifically help me and the XDF I am working on. There are several 2D tables in a bin file that have non-consecutive addresses. Explanation - The 2D table references the X-lookup first, then the corresponding calibration value. This pattern repeats itself for t...

Can't seem to change values in bin file

Hey guys, I'm new to Tunerpro, and to this site. I'm pretty familiar with hex and bins, etc. I am working on an XDF file for a Honda OBDI P72 bin. I'm tired of using someone elses Honda bin editor which dumbs down the calibration process to the point where it is difficult to tell what items are actu...
