GM ECU's running in TPS mode for load sensing (alpha N)

Post by sonic »

Hi
I've got a couple of projects both using EFI but with stack Injection manifolds.

My rod runs a Motec M48 in TPS mode on a Kinsler EFI Stack Manifold.

I'm also building a front engine dragster using a holden inline 6 with a mechanical injection maniflld converted to efi. I would like to do something a bit different and run a GM ECU.
Problem is with a cam around 260deg @ .50, over .500" of lift at the valve and a IR manifold getting the ECU to read the MAP sensor would be near impossible at either idle or WOT. I'd like to try and use the holden 808 or 6424 ECU and set up the coil pack ignition, just to be a bit different.

I was wondering if anyone knows if the GM ecu's can have the load sensing changed from map to TPS, also known as Alpha N

The dragster is going to run on Methanol

I have all of the aussie ecu's availible to play with if anyone has a suggestion.

regards
Brett
