Hi guys i'm new in the forum and i ran into this forum thanks to OldSkullTuning on youtube
I am the owner of a Mash fifty euro 5 with ecu delphi mt05 and I wanted to know if the speed limiter could be eliminated from the bike and how
I bought the cable you see in the link that will arrive tomorrow : https://www.amazon.it/gp/aw/d/B00EY7Y6C ... prod_image
I wanted to know if that cable was enough to extract the file to send for editing, or if something else was needed
Thanks for future replies

Hey there, were you able to solve the problem? I'm also new and I'm having the same need of the reprogrammed map files

Hi,
It is my understanding that the ECU is limiting the speed. There has to be a speed sensor somewhere, unless it limits the revs. I haven't found out which or where it is yet.
You will either need to trick the ECU with a different speed sensor or you will have to reprogram the ECU so the limit is removed. Reprogramming the ECU can be done with the help of a suitable OBD2 to USB connector/cable and the tool from https://netcult.ch/elmue/hud%20ecu%20hacker/
If you don't know what you're doing you may end up with an non-functional engine when trying to re-program ECU.
