Checksum question

If my Motronic M3.3 cranks, fires up and runs without a checksum adjustment do I need to worry about it? Or is it still a good idea to have the checksum match every change made in the tune?

Yes you need to checksum everytime tuning,if not maybe can't start engine

ECU and chip number?
