MEFI1 how to read the data?

Hi,
I'm looking for the specification of the data coming from the serial-data pin in the DLC-port in my boat. It's a 8192 baud stream but how to interprete the data?
Does anybody know and are wiling to share some info on that?

I am specifically looking the read the fule flow rate and rpm - nothing else. So to buy a full multi hundred $$$ software package is way more expensive than putting in a fule flow sensor - but that's also costly and seems a bit stupid since the data is there in the ECU...
Any help most appreciated.
